This does not prove anything rather than its luck and RNG based like many things in WoW. ~30 casts and I got the little shy bugger. The day after I fished at the exact same spot for ~2 hours straight again, when I finally decided to try my luck at The Black Market. Fished there for ~2 hours straight, no catch. There is no obvious reason that It can't be caught in this place, but imo go the safe places if you want to fish for it.įirst day I was in the Cantrips & Crows area at the fishing supply npc on the dock. I have yet to get confirmed that Giant Sewer Rat can be caught in area with the Arena Battlemasters. This gave me 565 fishing.Ĭomment by UnlockyFrom what I can read on these pages and by talking to ppl on my server, the rat has been confirmed caught in 4 particular places: I used the +75 Fishing Skill boost you get by using the hat to apply a lure to the pole. I fished all 3 locations with Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole, Weather Beaten Fishing Hat, and Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots. The Giant Sewer Rat can be caught in any of these 3 locations. There are 3 places to fish, The Black Market, Circle of Wills, and Cantrips and Crows.

I was using my Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole with a Spun Truesilver Fishing Line and a Bright Baubles sadly I ran out of my better hooks long before I got the rat.Ĥ50 fishing + 30 + 3 + 75 = 558 fishing ( need atleast 525 fishing to avoid " Fish got away"). I did my fishing by the Inn in the Dalaran Underbelly (Cantrips & Crows), a Fishing Supplies Vender which sell bobber's is right by the end of the dock which makes for a short trip to restock and sell off fish/crap.
